Story
Phaselock is a system for turning intention into consistent action.
We often protect our identity from failure by avoiding the tasks that matter most.
Instead of doing the work that creates real progress, we procrastinate with low-stakes, frivolous tasks.
I noticed this pattern in myself. On paper, I was “busy.” In reality, I was avoiding the few actions that actually moved things forward. I didn’t need more motivation. I needed a system that forced focus on the right things, day after day, without negotiation.
Around the same time, I kept seeing visualizations on Twitter that showed an entire year as a grid of dots - one dot per day. Seeing time represented that way made it feel incredibly finite. Miss a day, and the gap is obvious.
Product
Phaselock combines those ideas into a simple system.
Set a goal. Commit to the daily actions that matter. Lock them in. Each completed day fills a dot. Over time, progress becomes visual, concrete, and hard to ignore.

The product is intentionally minimal. No streaks, no gamification, no motivational copy. Just structure, accountability, and a clear record of whether you showed up or not.
Phaselock reflects how I think about product design:
clarify the real problem, remove distractions, and build systems that make the right behavior the default.
